Research Mobility Programs

WUN also fosters the next generation of researchers through its Research Mobility Programme (RMP). This program provides opportunities for early-career researchers, including postgraduate and postdoctoral students, to expand their knowledge, gain international experience and broaden their professional networks. The RMP provides access to expertise and resources that are not available within the awardee’s own institution, while exposing them to ideas and cultures different from their own.

The resources that WUN partners make available to support Mobility Programme vary from institution to institution. Some make modest awards to help with travel and subsistence during the visit, while others integrate graduate mobility into international research development funds. NCKU combines the mobility program with research according to international research development funds.

The following provides the details of RMP for NCKU:

Purpose - To encourage and strengthen the academic research interaction between NCKU and WUN member schools.

Qualification - NCKU doctoral students or postdoctoral researchers who have a research collaboration with WUN member schools are planning to go there for a 1-2 month short-term research exchange.

Application - Submit NCKU Application form with the relative research collaboration documents before go out for exchanging two months ago.
